By using special components, Cool Plus - the virgin material infill from Melos - keeps surface temperatures significantly lower. At the same time it offers all the benefits of tried and tested sulphur-cured EPDM infill granules.
A direct comparison of a number of different infill granules reveals the decisive "Cool Plus" effect: low heat build-up and permanently lower surface temperatures - over the period of an entire day. So even in bright sunshine you can feel comfortable on the artificial turf and simply stay cool.

Through the specific selection of eco-friendly crosslinking chemicals and additives, Infill EPDM ECO complies with the strict requirements of the ÖISS Directive (luminous bacteria test) relating to eco-toxicity and PAH content; it can consequently be used for construction projects which have to meet special requirements in respect of environmental compatibility and eco-toxicology (inhibition of nitrification or luminous bacteria test), such as those in the ÖISS (Austrian Institute for School and Sports Facility Construction).
